Also think I found a bug.

Group By Tags, then when dragging an Unclassified Task which has a Workspace attached, I drag Task into a Tag and then the Workspace is removed. Anyone else have this problem?

Just realised that this DOES work but ONLY if you use "Group By" feature.

Choose Group By Workspace or Tag

You can't drag onto the left side colum tags or workspaces.

You can drag Feng Office tasks into existing workspaces that have something already assigned.

You can drag Feng Office tasks onto tags which have something assigned or onto "unclassified" tag, but it shows an error sometimes. ( Query failed with message 'Unknown column 'unclassified' in 'where clause'' )

I stopped usnig Feng email anyway. Found the searching tool results too hard to use, only showing subject and no summary.

Email filtering wasn't good.

Automatically adding attachments to Feng document list was getting annoying.

Ugh more info.

Edit /applciation/controller/BackupController.class.php
Put in your info between lines 3-7

If you do not modify those then ANYONE can download your backups by visiting the URLs where the backups go by default. Not cool.

My db.sql vanished after backup for some reason.. not sure what happened there. Maybe it gets packed into the zip file afterwards.

Oops worked it out,
index.php?c=backup

Click the link "Missing lang: start backup"
Maybe fix the language files if you can work that out, otherwise don't need it often enough to matter.

I'm not sure if mine worked, I have about 250mb of files on server and I know that I can not use tar gzip to zip it all up as I get memory limit errors.

I end up with two zip files in /tmp/backups/
One is opengoo_backup.zip
The other is opengoo_backup.zip.ASDFGFG (random stuff).

They are different sizes.

Email Attachments NOT to be automatically copied to Documents.
I'm not sure why this happens, but I get a copy of every email attachment appearing in Documents and it makes a mess.

It isn't just that it makes a mess, I'd rather just not do that automatically for some email accounts and manually do it myself as needed.

I'm fairly sure everyone needs to drag and drop tasks onto Tags and Workspaces without going through 7 clicks to do it.

Tasks should drag and drop the same way that documents/notes/emails/people do from the listing.

Archived isn't going to work for this I think.

Using tags is almost good, but it takes too many clicks to assign a tag to a Task. (unless you use Group By, see forums.fengoffice.com/index.php?topic=15929.msg33398#msg33398 )

I'm trying to work out a procedure for billing so that I can use Tasks with timeslots to do my time based invoicing.

I use the handy start/stop timer on each Task to record my time, it is cool.

But once I've got my total time and bill written I need to mark off the Tasks so that I don't bill for them again later. I don't want to delete them because they are my records.

Using "Completed" is not good because the billed/completed tasks still show up in  "Total task execution time" area.

Using a custom report is not good because it does not show the time or total time of the tasks, so I can't work out my times and costs.

Using "Archive" is not good because the tasks disappear, apart from that it is good because the tasks no long show up in "Total task execution time".

So I just need to know how to view archived Tasks...

I need this too. I have my Email and Documents in Feng Office online webserver.

My clients send me photos to put on their website, but their photos are huge. These files load fully every time I want to see what the file is or if I want to edit description, relation, comments etc - it loads the whole photo.

I've done lots of projects where I had to add thumbnail generation, I'm thinking that you might be able to use just one new function -
"DisplayThumb(id,width,height)"
inside that function you check for existing thumb

if file is NOT jpg,png,gif etc do usual thing or do nothing. return;

if thumb filedate is older than original ID filedate then generate new thumb and save as /cache/thumbs/id_XXX_YYY.png (?) thumb generation does get complex when it comes to alpha channels.

show thumb at requested size

Then you'd have to put that function into the columns, but I have no idea about that.

It would need to load a thumbnailed cached version of the image so that it wont cause large photo files to be downloaded. At the moment I am dealing with clients who like to attach images without reducing them first, so working with the Documents area is becoming quite slow as a lot of the images are 4-5 megabytes and the whole file is loaded every time I want to edit the file or see what it is.

When replying to email I get stuck in quote mode, pressing enter wont break out of quote mode and therefore I can't reply in between the sender's text lines. So it makes it hard to answer questions via email.

How do I edit source HTML in email?

Or what about a Clear Formatting button on the email WYSIWYG controls.

How do I manually add workspace autoclassification to email account in the database?

I have reported a bug #4041, one of my email accounts will not save autoclassification settings.

I would like to put the settings in myself, I just need to know which table the settings are stored. I searched a lot and can't find it. Is it stored in a php file?
