Development / Hook on date

Hi
I want to change Gregorian calendar to Jalali calendar in Persian localization
I figured out that i can add some hooks and without touching core components codes, obviate the need of Persian calendar.
I don't know where should i user my hooks
I found these files :

• DashboardController.class
• helpers/calendar.php

i dont know where to start ,
is there anyone to help me?

Thanks to FengOffice project team for their great job.also I've to thanks Faghihi for Persian translation.
actually i'm  reading Feng documents right now.
I have spoken to Faghihi and I'm ready to join Persian Feng team.
