in fengoffice.com downloads section it is stated that most recent stable version is 1.7.4.
I found no category in forum neither in bugtracker to report errors in FO website, so its here.

Development / RSS feed in wiki

Docs wiki has a feed: http://fengoffice.com/web/wiki/feed.php

Somehow it is not discovered by browser.
Why not fix it or add an icon manually?

Feature requests / Filter tags in panel by workspace and module

I think it would be great if you could see only relevant tags in the panel: those, which would give non-empty results in selected workspace and selected module.

How To's / Google Calendar Sync problems.

Hi,
I`m trying to get FO 1.72 events into my GoogleCalendar.
GoogleCal seems to accept the feed, but displays no events.
After some attempts with various filters I got a message about robots.txt
I applied the patch to it, but still no luck.

What could be wrong?

Installation problems / Buggy upgrade 1.7 to 1.72

Somehow autoupgrade message did appear, so I took the chance and upgraded.
Some things went wrong:
1. Two empty tabs are loaded on every interface reload
2. Email module not accessible
3. Details of some tasks are not accessible
I didn`t search for more errors. Yet replacing the whole FO installation with the 1.72 manually does not fix it. So I think the database is broken.

Do you think it`s fixable without restoring an old database backup?

Ideas / Linking different FO installations into network

I have part-time jobs in two different companies of the same field.

Currently in one company we are slowly adopting FO, and it would be cool to offer the same solution for another. But then my calendars and emails would be split and messed up. And sharing some resources (say, a workspac or specific contacts) would be useful for both.

Maybe it is already possible?

After quite a while I started finding usefull improvements submitted by users.

I would have enjoyed them longer if it was stated somewhere clearly, not inside dev`s forum. And still I find it complicated to crawl each thread and look for info if this hack works, is obsolete or has special requirements.
Also, there are a few plugins by Ignacio, not described anywhere I could notice.

So I thought that making a summary of improvements in the wiki would make sense. What do you think?

How To's / Bugs in forum

Hi,
When I edited a post immediately after submitting (it was in Lithuanian translation forum), it disappeared, but the text was saved in topic summary. So not completely gone. Refreshing or changing browser didn`t help.

So I tried to post again the same, but was warned about the duplicate.
After changing something, The post appeared, but the quotes were messed up, so I edited again and it repeated

After posting almost the same third time, all three posts appeared, but after deleting one, all disappeared again.

It`s enough now of this magic,
Admins, please have a look at DB, and perhaps you should update forum software!

How To's / Lost - where do I report bugs now?

Bugs forum is closed, and offers to visit fengoffice.com
I found a Ticket system, which is for paying customers i guess..

So where do I file a bug? There should be a precise link in the bugs forum header.

Feature requests / Feeds: workspace name in the feed

I`m using sort-of desktop notification system via RSS (I chose klipfolio for it).
Somehow only the general dashboard feed reports all the activities for the user (i`ll file a bug when I find out what`s the problem with workspace feeds exactly).

But the feeds don`t report in which workspace the activity happened, and thus the output is a confusing mix of similar tasks and comments from unrelated projects.

I think that should be easy to do. Maybe I even could do it myself, if anyone gave me a hint..

Older versions / Cannot compress more than 10 files

generates error 400 „bad request“ when compressing any  (after a few tests) 11 files.
10 or less files are compressed correctly.

Older versions / html documents come without encoding - in firefox by default displayed wrong.

Hi,
li'l problem is this:

downloaded html documents come without encoding specified.
Firefox in my language by default applies baltic encoding to it - so they look broken.

Community Contributions / images as thumbnails in workspace overview

Optional of course.
It would provide quicker visual identification of workspace itself,
also function a little like a gallery, which is desired in many cases i deal with.

Could pop-up news, track time, remind events while sleeping in system tray, maybe upload bigger files, etc.
