How To's / Need some help with "Dimensions", how to use "Projects" and "Workspaces"

Hi,

I'm not new to Feng Office, but made a long pause with it. Right now I'm going to start using Feng Office again.

I need some help with "Dimensions", how to use "Projects" and "Workspaces" most suitable. We have some inhouse (what we call) "projects", which are running continuously like building certain products ongoing, or doing some ongoing marketing efforts. What Feng Office dimensions are most suitable for such "projects"?

Older versions / Solved: 1.5 final: Buttons "Start work" and "Add work" in "Tasks" disappeared

Solved:

Bug in 1.5 final:

The Buttons "Start work" and "Add work" in "Tasks" disappeared. You can not use time slot any more.

This is a very urgent case for us.

After opening a task:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getId() on a non-object in /home/.../application/models/comments/Comment.class.php on line 188

Maybe it's again because of a deleted user.

1.4 final / 1.4.2: Fatal error: Call to a member function getCardUrl()...

"Fatal error: Call to a member function getCardUrl() on a non-object in /home/mydomain.tld/public_html/application/views/milestone/view.php on line 135"

I deleted a user. After this deletion I can not open some tasks and milestones. I always get the above error.

How can I get access to these milestones?

1.4 beta / Solved: 1.4 beta 2: Editing of Workspaces no more possible

Editing of Workspaces doesn't work any more: If I click on "Description" or "Edit permissions" nothing happens any more.

At the moment OpenGoo is not usable any more.

Solved: I downloaded and installed the new 1.4 beta 2 (a) and now it works.

1.4 beta / Solved: 1.4 beta 2: "Error: ogTasks is not defined"

After clicking on Tasks I get "Error: ogTasks is not defined" and I don't see any of my tasks.

Solved: I downloaded and installed the new 1.4 beta 2 (a) and now it works.

Feature requests / Admin must be able to Edit Users Preferences

We are in desparately need of: The Admin must be able to Edit Users Preferences.

Reason: All of our users are German so every user need to change his preferences to:

- Localization: de_de
- Use 24 hours format: Yes

and:

- Remember the user interface state: Yes
- Work day start time: 08:00

But unfortunately no user knows about this settings. So the admin has to set these preferences.

How To's / Using OpenGoo as an easy CRM?

Hello,

I want to use OpenGoo as an easy CRM application. Since OpenGoo isn't really a CRM I wonder if it is possible to use it as a CRM even though.

I don't need really much features but I need a good Contact Management and Contact Activity Management like seen in ACT. The Contact Management should include a Task/Time Management to get alarmed when to call a contact and so on. There should be an activity log/notes like in ACT regarding the contacts.

Maybe the developers of OpenGoo could answer this question.
