Ideas / Layout Change to save space

hey there,

I often noticed it, but now i also want to ask if maybe one could change the "waste" of space in the top area of FO.
I attached a screenshot with my idea of moving some items.
this would be useful for all widescreen devices, which are affected even more than displays with an old 4:3 resolution.

also, the "loading anitmation" could be done, by rotating the FO symbol which is on the top left?

i'm not sure how easy it is to do these changes on my own. in which files would i have to look?
or maybe others like this idea, too?

How To's / fetch more than 10 mails / view imap folders

hi there,

I have 2 little question about the email module (with imap):

1. when i click on check for new emails it only fetches 10 mails.
i have about 3000 emails in my google acc.... and I don't want to press this button 300 times
what do I have to do?

2. how can i display a list of the imap folders in the inbox screen and just select one of these folders?
how can i display the imap folder the mail is in in the inbox screen in front of every email?

1.3-beta / task view crashed

hey there,

i went to taks and set it to view completed tasks.
now i get an errormessage:

i can't see any taks any more. i always get that message, even when i log out and log in again...

Feature requests / automatically move emails to workspaces

it would be nice if one could automatically assign emails (per mail account, or imap mailbox, or maybe even sender or because of the subject?)
to a specified workplace.

Feng Office 1 / "compress file" leads to "delete email accounts"

hey,

when i try to compress a file the system leads me to the "delete mail account" dialog...
it wont accept clicking on "no", so i have to click on yes which leads me to the error message i posted some minutes ago.

is this a wrong link? how to correct it?

hey,

i justupgraded to 1.2 beta (from 1.1 beta :DDDD )
and after i emptied the cache i also could see my tasks and weblinks again.

now i wanted to delete old email accounts, but the system searches a file that obviosly does not (and did not in 1.1 beta) exist....

Feature requests / make opengoo edit .php .css files etc

currently opengoo doesn't seem to support editing of php files.
could you please add support for those files (which are text only) ?

Ideas / "more" menu in documents section

in the documents section there is a menu called "more" which contains 3 points (download, properties and slideshow)
wouldn't it be better to add them to the normal menu bar instead of an extra menu?
i use the "properties" and "download" function very often, and it woul db emuch better if they were directly available instead via this extra menu

Feng Office 1 / search does not find everything...

hey there,

i just recognized that the search somehow does not find everything it should.
i have lot's of weblinks stored  which link to lifehacker.com (great page btw XD ).
but the opengoo search only finds 2 of that links o_0

when i have a look at the database i found the table "searchable objects".
and yeah, it only contains %lifehacker% 2 times, but as you can see the table with the weblinks has mor eentries with thats words in it:

7 match(es) inside table og_project_webpages    Browse    Delete
0 match(es) inside table og_projects         
0 match(es) inside table og_read_objects         
2 match(es) inside table og_searchable_objects    Browse    Delete

what i also saw when browsing the searchable objects table is that:

- there are lots of empy entries like:
     Edit      Delete      ProjectEvents     3     tags           1     0     0
can i delete them? where are they from?

- there are entries of files which could not be uploaded, but this db entry was already written..

could someone please fix that? XD

Ideas / dashboard: upcoming events

currently the dashboard shows the current week's events.
but when you get tot the end of the week, you don't realyl see the upcoming events.
today it's friday and i only see events till saturday...
maybe it would be better to show the last day, the current day, and the next 5 days?

Feature requests / icons for events

hey there,

just wanted to add a birthday to my calendar, then i saw that there is only one icon for events.

would it be possible to add some?

-maybe a cake for birthays
- or just some colored dots the user then can use to categorize his events
- or the feature that a user can upload some own icons

Feature requests / Link Calendar event with external website

hey there,

i just wanted to add an event to my calendar and link it ith a website.
but this is only possible if the website is saved within the weblinks.

but as this is a single event and will only be there once, i don't want to add this website to my weblinks as i wont need it later on.

would it be possible to add this freature somehow?
to just link it with a custom url that is not saved within the weblinks?
