How To's / FO 2.2.4.1 Odd issue with uers
« on: April 09, 2013, 03:17:10 am »
I've just installed FO 2.2.4.1 - I logged in as admin and added two users as Executives (under my company name).

The problem is that when either of these users logs in they can only see themselves under People. They cannot see each other.

Probably related is the issue that when I create a Calendar event I am unable to add any subscribers to the event.

Is there some configuration that I have missed to enable this - I had no issues with FO 1.75.

Thanks for any advice ...

My server is Ubuntu 10.4 (Lucid) - I am upgrading from 1.7.5 to 2.2.3.1.

I have created the /root/run_complete_migration.sh script and the crontab entry as per step 8 here:  fengoffice.com/web/wiki/doku.php/installation:migration#upgrading_from_1x_to_2x

The problem is nothing seems to be happening - and no log is created in the root directory (permission issue maybe?)

If I manually run the script I get the following:

Could not open input file: PATH//public/upgrade/complete_migration.php

If I change the location of run_complete_migration.sh to my home directory(and change the paths in the crontab)  I do get  a log file which simply reads:

Sat Feb 9 05:55:01 UTC 2013 Running complete_migration.php for feng_installation
Sat Feb 9 05:55:01 UTC 2013 END

It has run several times.

When I open my upgraded FO install in a browser I see no data.

I really want to complete this FO upgrade - please help!

Is there another way to run complete_migration.php so that I can complete the upgrade?

Feng Office 2 / Upgraded to 2.2 but no data available
« on: October 15, 2012, 03:23:41 am »
So I have followed the upgrade instructions here: fengoffice.com/web/wiki/doku.php/installation:migration#upgrading_from_1x_to_2x

run_complete_migration.sh has run a few times and all I see in the complete_migration.log is this:

Mon Oct 15 06:05:03 UTC 2012 Running complete_migration.php for feng_installation
Mon Oct 15 06:05:03 UTC 2012 END
Mon Oct 15 06:10:01 UTC 2012 Running complete_migration.php for feng_installation
Mon Oct 15 06:10:01 UTC 2012 END
Mon Oct 15 06:15:01 UTC 2012 Running complete_migration.php for feng_installation
Mon Oct 15 06:15:01 UTC 2012 END

I can access the new installation with a browser but none of my data is available.

Where can I look to see what is going wrong?

Many thanks!

Feng Office 2 / cannot upgrade from 1.75 to 2.01
« on: July 07, 2012, 01:23:47 am »
I am following these instructions: fengoffice.com/web/wiki/doku.php/migration.

Ubuntu Server 10.4 - Feng Office Community Ed 1.75

I am running this command:

sudo php feng_community/public/upgrade/complete_migration.php.

The first time it ran through OK but when I checked fo_objects and fo_processed_objects using phpmyadmin I have 14,360 vs 0 entries.

I have run complete_migration a few times now and the situation remains unchanged and I also get the following in the console:

PHP Deprecated:  Comments starting with '#' are deprecated in /etc/php5/cli/conf.d/mcrypt.ini on line 1 in Unknown on line 0

Any ideas why the upgrade will not complete?

How To's / How to delete email thread with one click?
« on: October 20, 2011, 06:06:16 pm »
Feng Office will group emails with the same topic together together under one heading.

However when I want to delete emails I have to delete each email in the thread one at a time.

Is there a way to delete an email thread all in one go?

I have my admin account set up to send emails through a Gmail account.

I can successfully send a test message and in the Admin config it is set to send emails every ten minutes.

I recently upgraded from 1.7.4 to 1.7.5 (automatic update) so I am assuming that this caused something to break ...

I have searched through the cahe/log.php file and I see no reference to the gmail account that I used for the feng office admin user.

I don't see any feng office entries when I run sudo crontab -e on my server either.

Where should I be looking to troubleshoot this issue?

Many thanks ...

Feature requests / Contact Address Fields
« on: July 02, 2011, 04:58:58 pm »
For international contacts I have trouble fitting the whole address into the limited number of fields available.

Could we have more than 1 address field or a button to add another address field to the current contact?

Getting Started / Problem trying to import contacts from Evolution
« on: June 21, 2011, 03:09:54 am »
I exported my address book from Evolution as a .vcf.

When I select the file for import in Feng Office 1.7.4 I get the following error listed next to each contact.

You don't have permissions to access requested page.

Any help with this issue is much appreciated.
