Feng Office 2 / RC2!

I give up, gonna change back to 1.7.5

- No email notifications
- Dates problem
- Direct link not working

Feng Office 2 / Direct links and dates still not working after 2.1.0rc! :((((

Damn, those simple two things that was working on the 1.7.5 is not working now!

Direct links to the tasks as well the links on the emails are not working:
ex: /index.php?c=task&a=view&id=63

Dates still being set 1 day -1!

Are you guys fixing these issues?

Feng Office 2 / New FENG release? This one is kinda buggy.

Hello,

When the next FENG version gonna be released?

There are several bugs on the version 2.0, that Im planning to switch back to the 1.74 and wait till everything is fixed. But if a newer version gonna be launched soon I will wait.

Bugs I found so far:

- Dates are all messed up. You gotta book 1 day ahead to show correctly on the task view but still showing wrongly on edit task and calendar view.

- Links to tasks on emails notification don't work properly.

- User experience is also messed up. Adding a task inside a milestones sometimes can be painful, once in a while they not being added correctly and you have to use the search button to find the lost task between many others.

And a few other minor things we experiencing adding/completing tasks, views not being reloaded properly, you gotta do a full refresh on the page, etc.

Any workaround for these bugs?

Hello, anyone else experiencing this problem? For example, I set the date at 30/04/2012 and its moved back to 29/04/2012?

Feng Office 2 / Problems with date on milestone templates

Does anyone else here having problems with date on milestone templates?

After adding an object -> Edit object property I set due date / parametric / = date + 0 days. But after creating the milestone from the template, the due date param is grabbed from the milestone used to create the template and not the date set when creating the template.

Any help?

On old FENG it used to show next to the milestone title,  anyone can point me to the right files to edit in order to show the workspace and sub workspaces names next to the milestone title?

Does anybody ever built an area for clients? FENG is a great tool to be used by our staff but seems kinda complicated for clients log in, comment on project and open tickets.

How To's / Tracking notes, tasks, comments ...

Hello,

How do you guys keep a track of unanswered comments? In my staff we have too many tasks going on at the same time and I use the comments to ask for an update and discuss about some particular task but we got like 30-50 conversation going at same time and if one of them is not answered I easily forget about it.

There are comments I expect an answer and others that I dont, so would be nice to see something like a star or track it button next to each task/comment where I can add it to my favorites or some kind of to do list so I can easily track the unanswered comments.

At the moment, for every task I comment and expect an answer I add a subtask assigned to me saying something like "commented" so I can filter all tasks assigned to me and not completed to track these unanswered comments but I found it a pain in the ass doing every time.

Would be nice as well some kind of email me button where the system email me the task URL so I can let it starred on my inbox.

Do you guys have any suggestion on how to do this easily with the current script features?

How To's / Cant assign people/company to mielstones?

Is this a bug or probably something broken on my end? I tried several times to change assign options but it keeps forcing the attribute "don't assign".

I hit the new milestone, choose me to assign, when I check the options this item is marked as "don't assign". Than I got to edit, change it back to me or any other value but it keeps changing back.

Anyone experienced this?

How To's / Difference between milestones and tasks?

I can create a Milestone and add tasks inside but I can also create a task and add subtasks inside. All the reminders and attributes I have for milestones I also have for tasks.

Do they work the same way? Just different names and icons on the calendar?

From the Feng Office KB:

"The Tasks tab gives you access to tasks and milestones. Tasks tell people what to do – milestones tell them when something is due."

I can also set a due date to the task and add reminders. So, what is the difference?

How To's / Templates or Creating a copy of this task / milestone loosing all subscribers ..

Hello, is it possible to create a template or copy of a milestone keeping all the settings inclusive the subscribers?

I have a network of sites that is updated few times a week, for every update I need to setup a milestone and add few tasks inside, each task is assigned to few people in my office. The entire milestone and tasks inside is the same all the time, the only thing that changes is the name. So i need a way to create a template or copy including all subscribers on the milestones and tasks.

Is there a way to do that?

Hello, Im new to Feng Office (great product by the way) and interested to know if it is possible to add the workspace border/background to all objects showing in calendar and the upcoming widget like it does on events?
