I was using 1.6.1.

In the upgrade tool it offered to upgrade to 1.6.2.  I did that successfully.

But now it says "There are no new versions of Feng Office available for download'.

I enabled my cron reports to be emailed to me.   This is a portion of my cron activity:

2010-09-08 06:21:39 - Checking for upgrades...
2010-09-08 06:21:40 - No new versions.

Why am I not picking up version 1.7?

Same problem here too.

I am able to drag emails onto workspaces to classify them still.

Version 1.6

From the draft email list, if I check them and select Move To Trash it is not working for me.    Opening the draft email up and clicking Discard works though.

Anyone else has this problem?

Would be nice to somehow have the ability to create a group of contacts or a distribution list.

General Discussion / Version 1.6 Review
« on: December 10, 2009, 06:54:48 pm »
I have been using Opengoo for about a year and struggled with a few aspects.   But after a few hours of using version 1.6 I welcome some of the new features.  For example forwarding attachments, the ability to emailing attachments from your workstation and printing emails were features which did not work in previous versions.

Anyways, after a mere few hours of v1.6 I am quite pleased so far with the improvements.

Feature requests / Email attachment -> Documents
« on: November 16, 2009, 01:43:52 pm »
When I drag an email to a project, even when there is no attachment it prompts to move the attachments over or not.    It becomes pointless when there is no attachment.

Also, it would be somehow nice to check for duplicate documents.  I'm not sure how this would be done, but heres a senerio.

When sending a document,:
1.  first upload the document.  (which I'm not sure why this is required to begin with)
2.  Create the email and attach the document
3.  Classify the attachment
4.  It prompts me to save the file which I sent FROM the Documents which results in duplicates.

How To's / Re: time tracking
« on: November 16, 2009, 01:29:07 am »
I too would like to see an option in an event (ie. meeting) for it to be included in the time tracking.   Then I could use events & tasks.   RIght now I have to duplicate an event as a task (or a general time entry if you wish) for it to be added as time.

How To's / Email Address Selection
« on: October 28, 2009, 01:17:34 pm »
How do I use a contact's secondary email address?

In an email, when you start typing in the TO field I am only getting the primary email and have no option to choose which email address to use.

And in the contact record itself this leads to another issue since when I select on a secondary email address it opens up my local email client and not an email via OpenGoo.

OpenGoo is project-centric.   Therefore you can generate time reports based on User and/or Projects only.

Attachments are not saved in Draft emails

Feature requests / Event - Non-user invitation
« on: October 14, 2009, 02:03:11 am »
Creating an event, you are able to invite users only and not any contact that is assigned to that workspace.

I want to be able to add a contact outside the system and they will be emailed notice with an ics file or whatever standard format that they would be able to add it into their calendars.

It see it be done in the Edit afterwards.   So this solves the problem.

Feature requests / Tasks - Add work - date
« on: October 09, 2009, 01:55:16 am »
When you "Add Work" for a task there is no option to set the date the work was done.   It would be nice to default a field to todays date, but have the option to set it to anything.

eg.   I completed some work relative to a task but did not update OpenGoo for a few days.    The history of the work in the system is not accurate.    It would be nice as I'm trying to use this for invoicing.

I have to admit, I was unaware of the "Add Work" option.

I am not sure what version of OpenGoo this was introduced but it solves my issue.

Now as I mentioned in another thread, it's just a matter of getting event time to be included in the reports.
