I haven't seen anything like that yet, but then again: my initial reaction when encountering Joomla is to shoot it, bomb it, set it on fire and if it still lives run away screaming.

On a more serious note: FengOffice is developed by a small team and there aren't much contributors outside the core team (who already said it doesn't have a high priority), so I'm afraid you have to wait.

Hi, really cool work.

is it going to be at Feng 1.7 by defaul?

Daniel

Feng 1.7 is already in testing phase. It will make it for Feng 1.8.

Just wondering: if I implement this in my current installation (1.7.2 beta) with the instructions specified by Allen, will I lose data if I update to 1.8 later?

Considering it's SMF, there are some ncie plugins to combat spam. I'll check later to see which ones I have running on my SMF-installations.

We (design duo) are currently testing FO, so I can't provide information. I'll gladly do this once we're using it more often.

Tried it the past couple of days: you can't save spreadsheets in eyeOS because of a bug. ;)

Regarding the 'how' we are going to do it, and the exact definitions and names, that is something we are still brainstorming.

I suggest to throw it out here int the open, maybe someone comes up with a really nice idea. In the end the projectlead decides. ;)

So OpenGoo will be renamed as "Feng Office" entirely (I think most of us can agree that the Goo-part of the name isn't that great ;)) and will appear in a SaaS and open source version?

Ideas / Re: Integration with Google Wave?

To be honest: I prefer to stay away from Google: it's a data mining/advertising company. I want to be able to allow/restrict their access to my data.

Npoe, just looked at it. I think an option to add dates would solve this problem.

Actually that's being developed (or changed) in v.16, see http://forums.opengoo.org/index.php?topic=2069.0

Installation problems / Re: Problem with upgrade to 1.5.3
« on: September 13, 2009, 09:24:48 pm »
What happens if you do incremental updates? So 1.4.2 -> 1.4.3 (or what ever is inbetween) -> 1.4.4 (you'll get it I hope) <snip> 1.5.2 -> 1.5.3

Try using the HTML codes for them:

Å = Å
å = å
Ä = Ä
ä = ä
Ö = Ö
ö = ö
