Older versions / templates not working?

maybe im making something wrong. i wanted to make a template for a task. im going to administration/templates --> add new template
there, i can give a name to the template, define some parameters (for what are those??), link objects and save the template
and now ? i thought, i now can go to tasks , new , and use this template. but nothing happens when i select a template...
is there some actual document, how to use templates?

Feature requests / Sponsoring new Feature: Create Task from Email

we would like to sponsor the following feature:
in the mask "classify email" it should be possible to add email to some workspace and create immediate a task out of it.

just adding  a additonal checkbox "Create Task" would help
pressing "classify email" with this checkbox tagged, will classify email and then redirect to the task creating mask within correct workspace. the text of the email would be pasted into the description field. the email is also linked as object for this task.

we have seen, in sponsor list there is a similar task like this for events. maybe we can do it together with this feature in one function.
