Hi Conrado,

at the moment it is a little bit too silent for me. No news about the status of the development for FengOffice 2.0.

Can you give me/us a feedback about the current status or a roadmap.

For me FengOffice is a very good product but I must make now some decissions for the future and I hope the development is not stopped.

Hallo,

cih glaube und hoffe, dass es weitergeht.
Mit dem Releasewechsel im speziellen mit dem UpGrade wurde sich ein Problem geschaffen, an dessen Lösung im speziellen für die zahlende Kundschaft noch mächtig gearbeitet werden muss.

Im folgenden findest Du einen Link wo Du sehen kannst an welchen Problemen gearbeitet wird.

Hallo,

ich verwende die letzte Version von OpenGoo und möchte jetzt auf Feng updaten.

Meine Verzeichnis auf dem Server lautet ebenfalls Opengoo.

Muss ich dieses jetzt umbenennen ?
Hat jemand Erfahrung mit der Umstellung?

Wäre prima, wenn mir jemand Informationen geben könnte.

hallo fab-ula,

das mit dem FTP-Upload wird wahrscheinlich nicht gehen, da Opengoo für die Dateien in der Datenbanktabelle "og_project_files" einen datensatz anlegt und zusätzlich noch die jeweiligen Dateirevisionen in der Tabelle "og_project_file_revisions" ablegt.

Theoretisch sollte es klappen, mehrere Datein mit einem ZIP-File hochzuladen und dann in OpenGoo zu entpacken.
(habe ich jedoch noch nicht selber ausprobiert.)

regarding the third issue:

3. In IE6, in the overview panel, the "View as list" button is overlapped with the Workspace name. I can also click any area at the same horizontal position of the Workspace name to go to list view.

it is depending from the screen resolution.
On my  desktop I have the same issue but on my notebook it looks fine.

Feng Office 1 / Mail (BETA)

Hello,

I know the mail function is currently a BETA version.

POP3 it's working fine without any problems. I received all messages also messages with attachements.

SMTP it's working different at the moment. Sending of normal messages it's still running without problems. But I can't find a function to add a file as attachement.  Also the forwarding function is doesn't work correct.

at the moment I test the version 1.2 RC1 and I found some small things
and I doesn't know if these are requested in this forum or not.
Also the using of the search function doesn't gave me a good answer.

So my idea is to put in this forum the same substructure related to the opengoo main functions behind the main structure.

Means: 

  BUGs
   --  Workspace
   --  Calender
   --  Contacts
   --  . . .

  Ideas
   --  Workspace
   --  Calender
   --  Contacts
   --  . . .

Hello,

the e-mail function in release 1.2 RC1 is a BETA version at the moment.

Only  POP3 and SMTP are working fine. For a correct IMAP solution you must
still wait maybe until the next release.

Hi,

for me POP3 and SMTP works perfect, too.

If I select the IMAP option then I got only the folder structure from the IMAP server (like Inbox, Trash etc.) but no messages.

I think at the moment the mail funktion is an BETA version and so I'm very happy with the POP3 solution.

Installation problems / Re: Blank Page - Help!

Hello,

it's only a friendly reminder.

After an update installation from release 1.1 to 1.2 I saw the LogIn screen and then a Blank Page.

The reason was that I forgot it to run the upgrade script from the public folder-
( see readme.txt )

Now it works fine.
