Feature requests / Re: Email bulk-action classify
« on: May 24, 2012, 08:06:55 am »
It's possible. Instead of clicking "classify", which is not possible as of 1.7.5 on multiple emails, you can simply drag and drop the selected emails on a selected workspace. In your account preferences, you can specify what to with attachements by default.

Hope it helps,

Patrick

Announcements / Re: Feng Office Mobile!
« on: July 19, 2011, 12:38:04 pm »
I think everyone agrees that the first step is to sync calandar, contacts and tasks. And by syncing, I mean two way sync. One way sync would allow us to carry our personal information everywhere, but two way sync would be a huge time saver. Especially when considering applications like the Business Card Reader to create contact and then share it with the team using Feng Office.

An important precision on syncing is that tasks and calendar sync should be on a user basis. It's usefull to be able to check the calendars of others for their availabilities, but when syncing, getting their calendar along with mine, even on a workspace basis, makes the actual calendar syncing feature totally useless to me.

As for the next priority, I think creating an interface adapted to mobile phones should be done quickly. It's the only way to get access to the entire application with the full features without re-writing the whole application.

Finally a feature I could use is the ability to manage pictures easily from my mobile phone. Of course this might require additionnal functionalities like a gallery within the Web app, or maybe a "drop box" on the phone. Mobile phones now have decent cameras and allow sharing pictures on social media, and Feng Office could take care of the team collaboration features associated with pictures in a working environment, like field inspection (ex : for building designers and builders), sharing design ideas, taking a picture of notes or drawings on a whiteboard used at a meeting, etc.

Hope this helps. Thanks for the great app.

Actually my first post was wrong : I always get the calendars of the other users. No matter what workspace I try to sync.  Anyone has this issue?

I am trying to sync my calendar on Lightning. If I sync only one workspace at a time, it works fine. But if I try to sync all workspace, I get the calendars of all users.

Anyone got this issue?

Feng version 1.7.4 (have the same issue since 1.5.3)
Apache version    2.2.17
PHP version    5.2.17
MySQL version 5.0.92-community
Lightning version 1.0b2

Feature requests / "Archive" users instead of deleting them
« on: April 01, 2011, 10:38:14 am »
When deleting a user, all associated objects loose their user reference. This is not right. When "deleting" a user, it should only change him to "inactive" using a database field so that we don't load him anymore in the user lists and we don't allow him to login. This way, any reference to this user is kept.

Feature requests / User rights on reports
« on: February 04, 2011, 12:25:49 pm »
Right now we can decide wether  a user can manage reports or not. However users still see the reports tab, and within they see custom reports that have been created.

It would be nice to be able to link custom reports to a workspace and inherit it's user permission. If a user doesn't have read access to the workspace, he shouldn't see the custom report.

Also, it would be nice to be able to completely remove the reports tab (and other modules) at the user/group level. When I grant a gest access to a user on a workspace, I would also like to define which module this user can access.
