I see on sourceforge that it is out now, but if I go into my opengoo admin and click upgrade, it says one is not avail?

as far as i know upgrades are only shown when the next stable version is abailable.
eg 1.1 -> 1.2
and  not 1.2 rc1 -> 1.2 rc2

I had had 1.1 only.

so it should show up when (stable!) 1.2 is released, not only RCs

Upgrade checks will start working from now onwards. When next version is out you will be notified in your OpenGoo installation when going to Administration, Upgrade. You will only be notified about stable releases.
