do oyu have cookies enabled? or any script blocker?
-
the website is in the trusted zone so there are no scripts blocked
i have add the website to the always allow cookie list
i also can login to the demo version on the opengoo.org website
so i think the problem isn't by the client
i have made a phpinfo so you can view the server settings

Hello guys,
Excuse me for my bad english. I encounter the same problem with an installation on OVH (I can not login). I thought it was a problem of chmod. I put it on 755 (for all files and folders) but it's always the same thing. What else can I do? I am very found of OpenGoo that I tested on the demo and I would like to use it and to help the project.
Thank you for the help.

Hello
Just in order to add this information : when trying to connect myself, I have this message : "Failed to log you in. Please check your login data and try again".
Thanks
-
do i have so special problem that nobody knows how to fix this?
-
Where did you try installing it? What is the server configuration?
-
I have the same problem, some knows how to fix it??
-
I'm having the same exact problem.
The installation was successful, but when I try to log in, the page seems to redirect to the same login page. (It keeps going to this page /index.php?c=access&a=login&ref_c=dashboard&ref_a=index)
But when I type a wrong password, the login tells me that the password is incorrect.
Any ideas?

I too have the same issue. I had 1.2 installed and working. I installed 1.3rc1 to the same place, under the same conditions. Since I never had real data in my db, I wiped it and started clean.

I got exactly the same problem. Any ideas or solutions how I can solve the problem? Don't want to reinstall everything :/
-
Same here. Working fine on localhost, but after installing on my dreamhost account, it returns me to the login screen, after login.

The sam problem here...

Hi Guys,
I just finished installing version 1.3 and it seems I was able to solve the issue. I'm still however trying my best to check how I was able to solve it. I made some changes and it seems I forgot what I did.. hhuhu...
But I'll update once I find it.

Have you checked this post? http://forums.opengoo.org/index.php?topic=1115.0
Edit: :D didn't realize that Jehu had posted the same link.

What you need to do is just manually edit the file called config.php after you install.
just put the correct information and over write the installation config.php file.
Tell me if it works for you...

Guys,
Deleting the cookie field worked like a charm, thank you!
:)
-
Perhaps the login form should warn users that cookies are required, either always or after checking if the user has cookies disabled.
Right now when you try to login with cookies disabled it just reloads the form. Without looking at the code my guess is it tries to setup session variables, the lack of which upon checking for them take you to the login prompt.

OK... so I just installed 1.3 and can login / logout fine with multiple users (in FF3XP, Safari XP, IE 7xp, Chrome xp) IF (and evidently only if) the first time I login I check the "Remember me for 14 days" box. If I don't check the box, I get the above error that all have mentioned...
All browsers have cookies turned on, and I tried all the following in the config.php to no avail:
define('COOKIE_PATH', '');
define('COOKIE_PATH', '/');
/ / define('COOKIE_PATH', '/');
(In all cases the COOKIE_PATH is set to '/' in Cookie.class.php anyway...)
help!
