: "Send email notification to user": Settings not stored
: msauter November 08, 2008, 01:00:14 PM
When I switch off  "Send email notification to user" for a task and save, the next time I edit the task this option is checked again.

Yes, this will be revised. Email notifications are not sent if you don't change the assignee, even if the checkbox is checked.

The problem I tried to describe is just the other way round: I DON'T want to send an e-mail, but after saving the checkbox is activated again.

This is still a problem. And people **are** getting emailed every time I make a tiny edit to a task. I try to remember to uncheck "send email notification" every time but it's just really inconvenient. Please help! I have set the default for "receive notifications" in Administration options to "no" but that does not seem to help.
