送信メッセージが文字化けします。
入力は問題なくても、送信したメッセージは、受信側で文字化けして使えません。
現象はクライアント側が
ＯｐｅｎＧｏｏ、もしくはＯｕｔＬｏｏｋでも同様です。
現象の範囲
タイトル、および本文

The message is garbled.
Even if it is unquestionable for the input, the message cannot
be used by garbling on the received.
The client side : the phenomenon.
Even OpenGoo or OutLook is similar.

Please set mail chr.code charset="iso-2022-jp" for Japanese email.

Please tell me where of which file has the parameter?

Currently, charset is fixed to "utf-8" and it shouldn't the exact problem but I don't check all the case especially header field.
現時点では、charsetは"utf-8"に決め打ちで指定されていて、このこと自体は文字化けの原因ではありません。但し、ヘッダーのフィールドについて、私もすべて調べた訳ではありません。

The situation might be improved with below unofficial patch used in pkgsrc.
(Since now posting with URL seems to be prohibited, I strip scheme of URL.)
以下のpkgsrcの非公式なパッチで状況が改善する可能性はあります。
(URLを含んだ投稿は禁止されているようなので、URLのスキーマを除いて投稿しています。)

最近のバージョンでは、まったく問題なく使っています。
