Hi,

I was upgrading from 1.4 to 1.5, but version 1.5 did not work with the current database, If I run a clean install from scratch a new database is created and everything is ok, but I lose all the data.

Is there any way of upgrading without having to change the database? I tried pointing the config to the old db but I was getting errors.

Which problem did you have when you tried to upgrade from 1.4 to 1.5 ?

DId you follow the upgrade instructions?

1) Unzip version 1.5 into your installation
2) In your browser go to <your opengoo>/public/upgrade
3) Choose to upgrade form your version to 1.5

I have a related question:  I want to upgrade, but I'm using a much older verion (Ver. 1.0).  Am I able to upgrade without losing all my DB data?  I have gigs of documents stored.

Just to be sure: create a backup of your current installation and update it per version.
