I have a row in tasks with 'Missing lang: unknown' text.
If I have, for example, 3 tasks, I have always a last row with 'Missing lang: unknown'.
If I don't have tasks for a workspace, I have one line with 'Missing lang: unknown'.

What language are you using? In English, there should be a last line that says "Total:..." - do you see that? Perhaps that is what is misisng in your language file.
If you use another language - do you get the same error? If not, then it's just a language file that is missing the translation.

Yes. I see the text 'Total'. But it's like there is a workpace with that name.
I used the en_us language and it's there, too.

fill in a new line in:
language/en_us/objects.php:
'unknown' => 'unknown',
;)

Well, if I do that the line still there, but now it only shows 'unknown'.

Mine is doing the same thing. when I first post something it shows in both the missing lang area and the task section. When I click out and then back in the task it's out of the missing lang and only in the section it's supposed to be.

Why there is no answers to our problems?
I know that this is the community version, but thank to us numerous bugs were found and solved. I think this will help the Pro version, too.
Anyway, any thoughts about this problem?

What are you grouping by? Workspaces?
Also, is the "DEBUG" constant set to TRUE or FALSE in the config.php file?

Indeed, and we appreciate it a lot when bugs are found and reported. :)
Nonetheless I am afraid that we have way too many things to look into and resources are not enough, meaning that we cannot be as active as we would like to in the Forums

Yes, we are grouping by Workspaces and DEBUG constant in config.php file is set to FALSE.
And thanks for your explanation about your small activity ins the Forums. I understand now.

I did some test and this problems only appears when we group tasks by:
- Workspaces
- Completed on
- Tags

Thanks for the feedback.
In that case, the Unknown here means the following:
1- When grouping by Workspaces: tasks that belong to no workspace
2- When grouping by Tags: tasks that belong to no tags
3- When grouping by Completed on: tasks that have yet to be completed
The best way here would be to change the text name from Unknown to something different. Already took note of this for our Dev Team, but this is not considered as a critical issue.

But we don't have any tasks that belong to no workspace.
You can see that in the image in my Reply #2. That string still shows without any tasks below.

I think it's because it's not really a big issue, mainly an annoyance. It is only present when you group tasks by workspace. Depending on your usage, grouping by workspace is not a very useful grouping. Our install has over 1000 workspaces so this grouping is pretty useless to find tasks.
Other than the annoyance of it being there - how does this impact the workings of FO?
Have you posted this as a bug on the bug tracker? That is the better way to get information to the developers than this forum, I have found. They tend to come here only every few weeks.

On Tasks view...
Tasks without an "end date", filtered by: "Assigned to" , status "Pending" and grouped by "Due date", shows Unknown, doesn't matter which language.
Please, fiz it for us! ;)
