When editing task in the tasklist, the actual line should get a background color when mouse is over the line, so you don't close the task below. On larger screens this is an issue :)

I am not sure I understand what you mean.

On the current version (maybe this was changed later) the task gets a different background color on the task list.

If this is not the case for you (On latest 3.2) could you share a screenshot or video to explain more?
