It might work, but you need to tell google to use an older security format - so you need to login to google and make this change.    But, google also made some changes on their end with syncing of their calendar, so it might not work...

There is word on the street that an upgrade to this function will be implemented in future feng versions.

Can you guide me through exactly where to make this change in google. Can't see anything in the menus for this.

Just as Steve was mentioning, Google made many changes in their API, and we have yet to perform the changes on our side, which you should notice in the upcoming version.

Just chiming in to say that I'm having the same problem and I too look forward to the fix.

Thanks!

Do you know when this issue is going to be resolved?

I don't think it is a super high priority fix right now - more focus is on task load speed, I think; but the dev team has indicated it is in the pipeline.

Could not have said it in a better way!

Yes, Google Calendar is important to many people. But other things that needed fine tuning or other projects were (and still are) even more important to us.

We are still working on this as Google changed the whole API and it is taking longer than expected, but hopefully it will be solved by the end of March or during April.

In case someone has already invested time in redeveloping the compatibiity, we would be more than happy to add this to the core source code. Otherwise I am afraid we would have to wait a bit more. :)

Best regards,
Francisco

I assume Google Calendar sync is still not functional on the current stable release?

Anything less than 3.2 won't work.  Right now 3.2 is in RC, and should include a calendar sync - I would suspect to see the stable version (not that RC isn't stable) within the next few weeks.
