Having trouble receiving emails, even though opengoo says "success: Email Retrieval Complete. 0 Emails Received." We also can't seem to save sent emails, although we can send them.
My Server's email configuration is shown in cpanel as follows:
Mail Server Username: user+myopengooserver.com
Incoming Mail Server: mail.myopengooserver.com
Outgoing Mail Server: mail.myopengooservercom (server requires authentication)
Supported Incoming Mail Protocols: POP3, POP3S (SSL/TLS), IMAP, IMAPS (SSL/TLS)
Supported Outgoing Mail Protocols: SMTP, SMTPS (SSL/TLS)
I believe I can use 25 or 587 for smtp. Pop3 is 110. Server doesn't require ssl, but server requires authentication using login. I can get outlook express to work right all day long.
Here's a screen shot of the dialogue for the email's connection method configuration gui. This is different from the wiki article about email setup.

Any suggestions would be immensely appreciated!

Hi,
About saving emails take a look at this thread: http://forums.opengoo.org/index.php?topic=1040.0
I don't know why you are not receiving any emails.

Hi everyone! I just started testing OpenGoo and had the same problem with receiving emails. After some try&error I found the solution for me to redo the mail account setup and not touching the secure connection options this time. I really had to delete the account, disabeling SSL in the existing account did not do the trick.
With disabled security everything is working :P
Otherwise I just want to thank the devel team. After one day testing I didn't find anything else so far ;D Great job you did!

I am unable to receive new e-mails via POP3 or IMAP. I have checked my webmail and there are three new mail messages at this moment. I have recreated the mail account to make sure that I did not enable SSL and the messages still do not appear in my inbox.
Previously, messages approximately one week old have finally listed in my inbox in opengoo. Is there a date filter active in the opengoo installation by default or something?
