It would be nice, to have an integration of a file-manager like other groupware products. Have a look at http://www.ajaxplorer.info/ - nice features: access to file-system of server, access to remote file-systems, access to mysql-databases ... If you would crawl it by your search-engine, it would be perfect.

Yeah,
I support your idea too, the ajaxplorer is cool  8), with a nice crystal theme.
I like it.
